Description
The Tilley Memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 5 metres to the north-west of the north porch of the Church of St George. It dates from around 1845 and is constructed from sandstone ashlar. The tomb features a chamfered plinth, sunken panels, and corner piers with shallow trefoil-headed panels, topped with a chamfered edge. It commemorates Francis Tilley, who died in 1845, and Ann Tilley, who died in 1849.
