Description

The Timmis memorial, located about 8 meters west of the west tower of the Church of All Saints, is a chest tomb dating from around 1805. It is made of sandstone ashlar and has a rectangular plan. The memorial features a moulded plinth and capping, with square corner balusters. On the north side, there is a moulded rectangular and round-edged inscription panel dedicated to George Timmis, who died in 1805, and his wife, Ann, who died in 1804. The south side of the memorial was dislodged at the time of the re-survey in 1984.
