Description
This is a headstone located 4 metres east of the chancel of the Church of St Michael in Hopton Wafers. It dates from the mid-18th century and is made of sandstone ashlar. The headstone features a rectangular slab with a plain inscribed panel that has raised decoration above it, along with a carved upper edge that includes a central pediment. It commemorates Joyce, the wife of Waddington, who died in 1746, and their daughter Esther.
