Description

The gatepiers and gates located 100 metres northeast of Burford House date from the 19th century. They feature ashlar piers and cast-iron gates. The pair of cast-iron gates has a design that includes alternate short and long arrow-head railings, with top, mid, and bottom rails, as well as cross-bracing. The rusticated piers are topped with corniced caps and have projecting pyramid tops.
