Description

This is a milestone located approximately 35 metres to the north-west of Lower Rockhill Farmhouse. It dates from the mid-to-late 19th century and is made of white painted stone with a black base and lettering. The milestone has a rounded top and is inscribed with the word "MILES" at the top, along with the distances to B. Castle (7 miles), Clun (1 mile), and Knighton (6 miles). It is part of a complete series of milestones. Lower Rockhill Farmhouse is not included in this listing.
