Description
Felhampton Court is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is built of brick and features a 20th-century restored plain tile twin-span roof with a central gable over an advanced bay. The house has two brick end stacks, a brick ridge stack, a bellcote, and a brick stack to the rear.
The exterior consists of three storeys and an attic with a five-window range. The central Venetian window has a corbelled sill and a mix of 1/1, 6/3, and 1/1 sashes, flanked by 3/3 sashes in the advanced bay and in the recessed side bays. The windows have broad moulded cases and gauged brick flat arches. There is a lunette window with a corbelled sill and 3/3 sashes on the second floor, and a round-headed 3/3 sash in the gable.
The central entrance features a four-moulded-panel door with a barred fanlight and leaded sidelights, all under a lead flat hood supported by scrolled brackets. The entrance is flanked by 3/3 sashes under gauged brick flat arches. On the right side, there is a wing to the rear with a large semi-dormer and a brick end stack. The left side has a staircase window, a two-light casement to the gable, and brick dentilled eaves. There is also a single-storey outshut with a late 19th-century canted bay window featuring 1/1, 2/2, and 1/1 sashes, along with a stack to the rear. The interior has not been inspected.
