Description
This building is a shippon located approximately 80 metres to the north of Lower Lea Farmhouse. It dates from the mid to late 19th century. The structure features a rubble plinth and end walls, with weatherboarded timber frame upper parts and a plain tile roof. It consists of four framed bays and is one storey high, with a loft in the eastern bay. There are two boarded loft doors and a boarded door to the north, as well as a low boarded door to the south. Inside, the shippon has machine-cut king post trusses and staggered double purlins.
