Description

The milepost located at the National Grid Reference SJ 5545 3298 is a late 19th-century structure made of painted cast iron. It has a triangular section that is hollow at the back and features a chamfered top. The left side of the milepost displays the inscription "SALOP/14/MILES," while the right side shows "WHITCHURCH/5½/MILES."
