Description
The Methodist Chapel in Caynham is a Non-Conformist chapel built around 1836. It is constructed of brick and features cogged eaves, topped with a slate roof. The building is a simple, single-storey structure consisting of one room.
On the south front, there are two pointed arched windows adorned with wooden intersecting tracery. The west gable has a plain beaded boarded door, which is topped by a brick segmental arch. Above this door, in the gable, is another pointed arched window with wooden intersecting tracery. To the north, there is a lean-to extension, and the east gable has a single small casement window positioned at a high level.
Inside, the chapel has a segmental plaster ceiling.
