Description

The United Reformed Church is a non-conformist chapel built in 1837. It features red brick construction with a plain tile hipped roof. The building has a tall rendered plinth and a dentil eaves cornice, and is single storey. On the north elevation, there are three tall round-arched windows with glazing bar sashes, along with a similar but shorter window positioned high on the left. Below these windows is a round-arched doorway that includes a panelled door and a fanlight. A later single storey porch has been added to the west side. The east side also has two high-set round-arched windows. To the southeast, there is a later gabled range that is not of special interest. Inside, the church features a gallery at the east end.
