Description

The Baptist Chapel is a non-conformist chapel built in the early 19th century, with an extension added in the late 19th century. It is constructed of brick and features a slate roof. The chapel is aligned east to west, with the extension located at the front (eastern) end. It is two storeys high and has a dentilled brick cornice at the gable. The central bay is slightly advanced and includes three windows that are 3-light casements. The central entrance features a segmental head and a two-leaf half-glazed door. The original chapel has two semi-circular headed windows on the side elevations. Inside, there is a gallery supported by cast-iron columns.
