Description
11 and 12 Burlton Terrace are two houses built in the mid-18th century, with some alterations from the mid-19th century and late 20th century. They are constructed of brick and have a tile roof. The buildings are two stories tall, with an attic that is lit by a roof light. A stepped brick cornice runs along the top.
Each house features three windows on the upper floor, which are boxed 9-pane 20th-century sashes with plastered wedge lintels and plastered sills. On the ground floor, there are three boxed 20th-century glazing bar sashes. The entrance to number 11 is located at the left corner and has a wooden architrave with a half-glazed door. The entrance to number 12 is situated between two windows on the right and also features a wooden architrave with a half-glazed door.
There is a late 20th-century garage attached to the left end of the building, which is not included in the listing. At the time of the survey in May 1985, the building was undergoing renovation.
