Description

This is a timber-framed cottage, likely dating to the 17th century or earlier. It was later stuccoed. The cottage has a steeply pitched roof covered with Welsh slate, with gabled ends. It is two storeys high and has two windows across the front. The ground floor windows are early 19th-century three-light casements. The first-floor windows are later 19th-century two-light casements. A central doorcase features a moulded cornice hood, and contains a panelled door. Brick chimney stacks are centrally positioned. Timber framing is exposed on the north end wall. This building has group value in its setting.
