Description
The Owens Memorial is a chest tomb located approximately 26 metres north of the north porch of the Church of St George. It dates from the mid-to-late 19th century and is constructed from sandstone ashlar. The tomb features a chamfered plinth, sunken panels, reeded corner piers, and a chamfered top. It commemorates Thomas Owens, who died in 1809, as well as Thomas and Mary Owens, who both died in 1856, and Ann Clements, who died in 1888. This memorial is included for its group value.
