Description
This building is a cow house and hayloft, likely dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a roof made of Welsh slate and corrugated iron. The structure has a rectangular plan that runs from west-south-west to east-north-east and consists of two levels.
On the south elevation, there is a break about two-thirds of the way to the right. To the left of this break, there are four loft openings, each with two lights, and three segmental-headed openings on the ground floor. The central ground floor opening has a ledged door, while to its left is a damaged square-headed opening. To the right of the break, there is a ledged door situated between two segmental-headed openings.
The west gable features a segmental-headed loft door, with an additional opening to the right and a set of toilet stairs. Inside, the building has interrupted tie-beam trusses.
