Description
Park House is a house from the early 18th century, altered in the early 19th century, with some repairs made in the mid-20th century. It is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings and features a tiled roof and external gable-end stacks. The building has two storeys and brick coped verges. It consists of three bays, with the central bay slightly projecting and featuring stone quoins at the corners. Above this bay is an open pediment with a dog-tooth brick cornice and a radially glazed lunette window that lights the attic. There are three windows, all of which are glazing bar sashes set under rubbed brick heads with painted stone sills. The central entrance is framed by a painted stone doorcase that includes a pediment, a pulvinated frieze, and a moulded architrave. The keystone above the door is carved with a grotesque mask, and the entrance features a six-panel door, with the upper two panels being glazed.
