Description
Moor House Farmhouse is a 17th-century farmhouse that has undergone some restoration in the late 20th century. It features a timber-frame construction with rendered infill and a machine-tile roof. The building consists of three framed bays arranged in a north/south orientation, with a stack located centrally between the two northern bays. The east front has one storey with an attic, which is illuminated by two dormers; the left dormer is timber-framed. On the ground floor, there are a 3-light and a 4-light casement window. The entrance, located to the left of the centre, has a gabled tiled porch and a 17th-century ledged and boarded door. The framing consists of three square panels high, supported by short straight angle braces. The left-hand dormer gable features lozenges created by diagonal braces.
