Description
Wainhouse, now a store, is located about 30 yards north-north-east of Bodenham Farmhouse. It was probably built in the late 18th century to early 19th century and is constructed from sandstone rubble with a tiled roof. The building has a rectangular plan that is aligned west-north-west to east-south-east and consists of two levels. The south elevation features a four-paned window on the left and two large doors in the center and to the right. The east gable has a central two-light window on the ground floor and a ledged door that covers an opening to the upper level. This structure is part of the farm complex at Bodenham Farmhouse and is included for its group value.
