3/56 Wainhouse about 20 yards east of Llanwarne Court

GV II

Wainhouse. Probably late C18. Sandstone rubble with Welsh slate roof. Four structural bays aligned north-north-west/south-south-east. Two levels. West elevation has roughly central segmentally-headed cart entry to the right of which is a small square-headed window opening and a ledged door under a segmental heads; tallet stairs rise from north-west corner to central loft entry in north gable. Attached to the rear, east side, is a lean-to early C19 cowshelter supported by columns. Interior has interrupted tie-beam trusses. Included for group value.
