Description

The gates and gate piers located about 15 yards south-west of Michaelchurch House are likely from the mid-19th century and are made of cast iron. The double-leaved gates stand approximately five feet high and feature two rows of bars with cusped heads, separated by a band of foiled openings. The top rail is adorned with lobed finials. The gate piers have plain pedestals, recessed side panels, and enriched cross finials.
