Description

This is a farmhouse, likely dating from the 17th century with alterations in the 18th and 19th centuries, and restored in the late 20th century. It is built of sandstone rubble and ashlar, with a hipped roof of Welsh slate. The house is arranged in an L-shape, with one section running roughly east to west and the other extending southwards from the east end.

The north elevation features a two-light mullioned window, a low ledged door to the basement, three windows to the first floor with cross-mullioned replacements, a 20th-century glazed door, and two gabled dormers with 20th-century casements. A single-story extension is located to the right.

The building includes a cellar. An interior inspection was not possible at the time of the resurvey, but records from the Royal Commission on Historical Monuments (Volume I, page 240) describe a late 17th-century staircase with a moulded handrail and square newels.
