Description

PRESTON-ON-WYE CP - SO 34 SE 4/55 Preston Court 20.2.53 II GV

House. Early C19 incorporating some C16 remains. Brick with tile roof, stack to right-hand return wall, and axially placed to left of centre. West front of two storeys, slightly recessed to left with hipped roof. One plus three windows, a glazing-bar sash to left and two 16-pane sashes flanking a glazing-bar sash. All have segmental heads. Entrance between the two windows to the right has an open pedimented doorcase with fluted pilasters, fanlight and flush panelled door. Interior: the kitchen to the rear has C16 moulded ceiling beams.
