Description
Huntley Court is a house dating from the early 17th century, which was refronted in the early 18th century and has some alterations from the mid-20th century. The building is timber-framed with rendered infill, refronted in brick on a rubble plinth, and topped with a machine tile roof. It features three framed bays aligned east to west, with a former cross-wing at the west end that is visible from the rear. The external stacks are made of rubble with brick shafts located at the east end of the rear (north) wall.
The south front is constructed of brick and has two storeys, with a band at the ground floor level. There are four windows: a 3-light casement to the left and three 16-pane sash windows, all of which are topped with segmental heads. The ground floor includes 20-pane sash windows. The entrance is located to the left of centre and features a wooden architrave, a gabled canopy supported by consoles, and a 6-panel door, with the upper two panels being glazed. The framing on the first floor consists of two rectangular panels high.
