Description
This is a barn located about 20 yards west of Ashe Ingen Court, likely built in the 18th century. It is constructed from sandstone rubble with dressed sandstone quoins and verges, topped with a pantile roof. The barn has twelve bays arranged in a west-south-west to east-north-east orientation. The north elevation features two opposing gabled porches, which are weatherboarded above two-leaved doors located in the fourth bay from the left and the third bay from the right. There are also two rows of loops on this side. Both the east and west gables include owl holes. Inside, the barn has trusses with raking struts connecting the ties to the principals. Note that Ashe Ingen Court is not included in this listing.
