Description

This is a barn located to the west of Ashe Cottages, approximately 50 metres from the wall, dating from the 18th or 19th century. The barn features a three-bay timber frame and is covered in dark weatherboarding, facing east and set back with its gable end towards the road. There are unequal lean-to structures at each end, both with red pantile roofs. The main roof is gabled and covered with slate. On the east side, there are double doors positioned centrally, and on the west side, there are two small doors stacked one above the other. The barn is significant for its contribution to the views of the village from the west and is included for its group value.
