Description
This house, located about 100 metres west of Wall End Cottage, dates from the late 17th century and has some alterations from the mid-19th century. It features a timber frame that is partially rendered with brick infill, topped by a tile roof. The building consists of two framed bays arranged east to west, with an external rubble and brick stack at the western gable end. The south front has two storeys and includes a central gable that contains a four-light casement window for the attic. On the first floor, there is a two-light casement window to the left, and below it, there are two more two-light casement windows. The entrance, located to the left of centre, features a 19th-century porch with corrugated iron sides. The framing consists of four square panels high, and the gable-end trusses have two struts supporting the collar.
