Description
This is a 17th-century barn located approximately 15 meters west of Great Corass Farmhouse. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a corrugated metal roof. The barn has eight bays arranged in a north-west to south-east orientation, with a threshing floor entrance located near the south-east center. There is a floored section to the south-east of the entrance that includes a lower cowshed. The trusses have two posts supporting the collar, and the entrance is flanked by loop vents. The south-west side of the barn is mostly hidden by a 20th-century lean-to extension, which is not included in this listing. Great Corass Farmhouse itself is not part of this designation.
