Description
Court-a-grove Farmhouse is a farmhouse with a 17th century core that has been extensively altered in the late 18th century or early 19th century, with some minor changes in the 20th century. It is constructed of sandstone rubble and features a 20th century tiled roof with brick chimneys. The building is designed in an L-shape, with the main house oriented north-west to south-east, and a service wing extending to the south-west from the north-west end. There is a large main axial stack on the main wing and additional later gable-end stacks. The farmhouse has two storeys, with two 2-light casement windows and one 3-light mullioned window on the first floor. The ground floor windows have segmental heads, and there is a ledged door located to the far right. Inside, the farmhouse retains 17th century chamfered ceiling beams.
