Description
Old Kitchen Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the 17th century, with alterations made in the late 19th century and late 20th century. It is constructed from sandstone rubble and features an asbestos slate roof with a stone end stack that has a brick top on the south gable. The building has a rectangular plan that is roughly aligned from north-east to south-west and stands two storeys high with an attic. On the north-west elevation, there are two windows that are 3-light late 19th century casements, along with late 20th century gabled dormers. The entrance is located on the south-east side. The interior is reported to include stone newel stairs beside the end stack.
