Description
Yewtree Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the 17th century, with possible earlier origins, and has been altered in the early and late 19th century. It is constructed from painted sandstone rubble and features a hipped Welsh slate roof with brick stacks. The building has a rectangular plan oriented from west-south-west to east-north-east and consists of two storeys. The south elevation includes four windows: early 19th-century casements and late 19th-century sashes, along with a blocked 2-light mullioned window situated above a roughly central mid-20th-century flat-roofed porch. Inside, the farmhouse is noted for its heavy chamfered ceiling beams in the ground floor room at the east end.
