Description

Oldfield Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates back to the 17th century, with alterations made in the early and late 20th century. It is probably constructed of sandstone rubble, now covered in roughcast, and features a corrugated iron roof with end stacks. The building is designed in an L-shape, with the entrance front facing west and a wing at the north end extending to the east. It includes a cellar and two storeys. The west elevation has two windows, which are 2-light early 20th-century casements, and a gabled entrance porch to the left, located at the front of the other wing. The east elevation features a 4-light mullioned window at the basement level of the north/south range.
