Description

The Cottage is an early 19th-century house, with later 20th-century repairs. It is constructed of brick with some timber framing, and has a tile roof. The west front has two storeys and two windows, each a 2-light casement with a segmental head. The ground floor has similar windows, with an entrance to the right of centre. The entrance is sheltered by a gabled tiled canopy with a segmental head, and the 20th-century door is half-glazed. The right-hand gable displays painted brick infill between light timber framing, and features a king-post roof truss. The building is included on the list for its group value.
