Description
Fair Lawn is a house dating from the early 18th century, with some alterations from the mid-19th century and mid-20th century. It is constructed of brick sitting on a coursed rubble plinth and features a tiled roof. The chimney stack is positioned axially to the east of the center. The south, or garden front, is two storeys high, with a slightly advanced center that has a pediment containing a lunette window. The façade includes one plus three plus one windows, all of which are 2-light casements from the 20th century, except for the central window, which is blind. The ground floor windows have segmental heads. The central entrance is sheltered by a lean-to tiled canopy and features a panelled door. The west gable facing the street has a blind circular window with keystones and displays a crest.
