Description

Eastnor Stores and Adjoining Cottage, known as No 2 The Triangle, is a pair of estate cottages dating from around the 1840s, with one serving as a village shop. The buildings are constructed from rubble with freestone dressings and feature a plain tiled roof with large rubble stacks. Designed in a plain Tudor Gothic style, the cottages are arranged in a U-shape and stand two storeys tall, with the upper storey jettied out on stone corbels. The gabled wings have plain bargeboards and 3-light casement windows, along with single and 2-light windows in the centre, all featuring diagonal pattern glazing bars. A band of three quartrefoils is located above the first floor centre, and there are two inner plank doors. The cottages are included primarily for their group value.
