Description
Eastnor Court, originally known as The Rectory, is a private house built between 1849 and 1850 by Sir George Gilbert Scott. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with brick dressings and features a plain tiled roof with tall brick stacks, some of which are diagonal. It is designed in a plain late Gothic style and has two storeys with four bays. The two bays on the left project and are topped with irregular gables.
On the ground floor, there are two-light cross windows on the right and a four-light window on the left, while the first floor has a six-light window on the right and two- and three-light windows on the left. All windows, except for the top right one, are set under arched brick heads and have brick dressings. The entrance features a plank door in a chamfered and arch-headed, recessed surround, positioned off-centre to the left. The south gable end includes a canted bay window and has two- and three-light trefoil-headed cross-windows on the ground floor.
