Description

The well on the village green is a village well built in the late 19th century to early 20th century for Lady Henry Somerset of Eastnor Castle. It features a brick rear wall and a pyramidal plain tiled roof that is supported by four braced timber posts. On the rear wall, there are two Italian Renaissance style terracotta reliefs. The wall head is made of brick and topped with a stone slab. Surrounding the green is a contemporary chain railing supported by a series of fluted cast iron uprights, although this railing is not included in the listing.
