Description
Kembles is a pair of houses located on Church Street in Leominster, dating from the late 18th century. The buildings are constructed of stucco with a Welsh slate roof, featuring a brick end stack on the left and a brick stack at the rear. They stand three storeys tall with a cellar and have a three-window range. The windows include 6/6 sashes, which were added in the late 19th century, set in moulded cases beneath stucco lintels with keyblocks. Above, there are 3/3 sashes in moulded cases. The central entrance features a 20th-century half-glazed door within a wooden doorcase topped by a moulded pediment supported by plain pilasters. On either side of the entrance are 8/8 sashes under stucco lintels with keyblocks. To the right, there is a likely inserted 19th-century six-moulded-panel door within a 20th-century architrave, topped by a simple open-pediment hood. The interiors have not been inspected.
