Description

This barn, located approximately 15 meters west of Old Bryn, dates from the late 17th century. It features a combination of timber framing and a sandstone rubble plinth, with a roof made of stone slate and corrugated metal. The barn consists of five bays arranged in a northeast to southwest orientation, with a threshing floor situated southwest of the center. There are later additions on the left side of the entrance on the southeast front and at the rear. The rear of the barn reveals square panelled framing, although much of the infill is missing, and it has inclined strut trusses. Old Bryn itself is not included in this listing.
