Description

Oldmill Barn is a barn dated 1666, constructed from sandstone rubble with sections of corrugated metal and a stone slate roof. The barn has four bays and is oriented southeast to northwest, facing southwest. There is a threshing floor located to the left of the center. The building features loop vents made from two vertical stone slabs and two horizontal slabs; one is positioned to the left of the draught doors at the entrance to the threshing floor, while two are to the right. Additionally, there are two square-headed wooden framed openings to the right. The lintel of the end doorway is inscribed with the date 1666.
