Description

MIDDLETON ON THE HILL CP SO 56 NW SO 56 SW 4/54 Nurton Court 7/54 II Farmhouse. Early C19. Brick with sandstone rubble plinth, hipped slate roofs. Rectangular plan with rear service wing, central entrance and main stair well, end stacks. Three storeys and cellars, parapet with blocking course. Three glazing bar sash windows, bow windows flank central doorway with Doric portico. Six-panelled door and overlight. Interior retains plain contemporary staircase with ramped handrail.
