Description

Nurton Court is an early 19th-century farmhouse located in Middleton on the Hill. The building is constructed of brick with a sandstone rubble plinth and features hipped slate roofs. It has a rectangular plan with a rear service wing, a central entrance, and a main stairwell, along with end stacks. The farmhouse stands three storeys high and includes cellars, topped with a parapet that has a blocking course.

The exterior showcases three glazing bar sash windows, with bow windows on either side of the central doorway, which is adorned with a Doric portico. The entrance features a six-panelled door with an overlight above. Inside, the property retains a plain contemporary staircase that has a ramped handrail.
