Farmhouse, now holiday farmhouse. Late C17 - early C18. Part timber-framed on stone plinth over left-hand side cellar, stone end walls, brick left hand gable, brick gable window heads and surrounds, brick quoins to end stacks, tiled roof with brick verges; local type external stone chimney with off-sets and detached shaft to centre of rear. 2 storeys and attic, 4 bays; contemporary regularly placed cross casements in iron with lead cames to both floors; those to the left being higher; entrance into second bay from the right, under gabled hood supported by a pair of consoles decorated in acanthus leaves, through a contemporary six-panelled door. Framing: 6 panels high from plinth to eaves; in the front 2 right hand bays there is wall-framing only in the top panel, the remainder being trompe-l'oeil framing over render. Interior: 4 flight, contemporary dog-leg staircase with fat balusters; big wooden lintol to fireplace inside external chimney. The left hand ground floor room has a much higher ceiling than the rest indicating a possible extension at this end (but roof not inspected), yet the artificial framing of the right hand side indicates re- building there too, the unifying features being the similar end walls and continuous panels below the eaves.
