Description
Hartlands is a cottage range, now divided into two cottages, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. The left part features a timber frame with brick panels and a thatched roof, along with a local stone external chimney that has a detached brick shaft on the left gable. It is two storeys high with two bays, random 20th-century casements, and a central 20th-century glazed entrance door. The right part also has a timber frame with brick panels but has a tiled roof and a local chimney on the right gable. This section is one storey high with three attic 20th-century dormers and four bays, featuring irregularly placed 20th-century casements and an entrance through a 20th-century glazed porch on the left bay. Both parts display irregularly shaped panels and occasional straight diagonally set braces from the posts to the wall-plates.
