Description
This barn and cow house, located about 20 yards east-south-east of Upper House Farmhouse, likely dates from the 18th century. It is timber-framed, covered with weatherboards, and has a slate roof. The structure consists of six bays arranged roughly east to west. On the south elevation, there are two entrances in the left bay, a ledged door in the second bay from the left, and full-height ledged doors in the third bay from the left. Additionally, there is a cow shelter with a rubble gable that is attached at right angles to the bays on the right side of the threshing floor.
