3/143 Barn and cow house about 40 yards south-east of - Bridge Farmhouse

GV II

Barn and cow house. Probably C18. Rubble base, timber-frame, weatherboards, corrugated iron roof, hipped to west. Eight bays aligned roughly east/west. North elevation: two ledged doors in left hand three bays set in rubble base, four entrances to right hand side. Weatherboarded lean-to under corrugated iron roof attached to west end; rubble lean-to with plain tiled roof attached to east end. Frame: four panels high to wall-plate. Weatherboarding in poor condition (October 1984). Interior: braces from posts to tie-beams, queen struts support collars.
