Barn And Attached Cow House About 20 Yards North-East Of The Parsonage

The barn and attached cow house, located about 20 yards north-east of The Parsonage, is likely from the 18th century. It features a timber frame, weatherboards, and pantiled roofs. The barn is a two-bay structure oriented north/south, while the cow house is a three-and-a-half-bay building that was originally an open-fronted shelter, attached at an obtuse angle to the south-west. The west bay of the barn has full-height ledged doors, and the frame consists of three panels high. The cow house includes two ledged entrance doors on the left and one double entrance on the right side of its north-west elevation. Inside, the barn has raking struts connecting the ties to the principals, and the cow house has collar trusses supported by posts at the entrance side.
