Description

Gamage Farmhouse is likely a 17th-century farmhouse, with later alterations. It is constructed of timber framing with sandstone rubble, painted and rendered, and has tiled roofs. The farmhouse has an L-shaped layout, with an external gable-end stack on the south wing.

The two-storey main facade has a 1:1 window arrangement. A small two-pane casement window is located on the west wing near where it joins the gabled south wing. The south wing includes an early 20th-century curved window positioned between the corner of the gable and the end stack. Early 20th-century glazed, two-leaved doors are set in a lean-to section where the two wings join.

The interior retains main trusses with three vertical posts extending from the tie-beams to the collars.
