Description
The Church of All Saints is a parish church built in 1841 by William Roberts of Chepstow, with the chancel lengthened between 1901 and 1903. It is constructed of sandstone rubble with ashlar dressings and has a slate roof. The church features a nave, transepts, and a chancel with a polygonal apse. The nave contains two lancet windows with hoodmoulds, while the south transept has a 2-light traceried window and the north transept features a single lancet. The chancel includes a single lancet in the original short chancel and additional traceried lights at the east end, which is apsidal. Inside, the church has painted wooden coved ceilings from the 1901-3 work and stone rib vaulting in the chancel addition. Notable fittings include a section of a 15th-century screen with traceried spandrels that was removed from the Chapel at Chapel Farmhouse.
