Description
This building is a barn and adjoining cartshed located to the west of Massington Farmhouse, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of rubble with brick dressings and quoins, featuring a slate roof, while the cartshed has a tiled roof. The barn consists of three bays and has a central entry with a segmental arch. On either side of the entry are large recesses with segmental arches that include perforated brick vents. To the left, there is a two-bay cartshed, also with cambered heads, and to the right, a three-bay cartshed with a corrugated iron roof.
