Farmhouse. C15, remodelled mid-C17 and c1810-20. Fragments of timber- framing but mostly red brick; hipped plain tiled roof and brick modillioned cornice; rubble and brick stacks, one at the rear has diagonal shafts. L-plan, rear wing at north east. Four windows plus one in the wing at the right: 16-pane glazing bar sash windows,. tripartite on the ground floor, and under cambered heads; string course over ground floor; later C19 canted bay at right. Off-centre panelled door; porch with octagonal, Tuscan columns. Interior: wide ovolo moulded beams to former cross-passage and large room at right (hall); stop-chamfered beams to left room. Rear (north east wing) retains portions of timber-framing; blocked 4-centre headed doorway and C19 door under a lintel decorated with a blank arcade of cinquefoils, moulded cornice above; on the first floor are portions of moulded wall posts and C15 arch-braces.
