Farmhouse. Mid - late C17, remodelled early - mid C18. Red brick, hipped slate roof with moulded eaves cornice and brick stacks at rear. 2 storeys, cellars and attics in 3 dormers. 3 windows to main part: 16 pane glazing bar sashes at left, sashes with vertical glazing bars at right; and Venetian style window on first floor centre, the outer lights are blocked but the inaccurately high cornices survive. Central 6-panel door under an altered fanlight; narrow side lights. 2 storey, 3 bay wing at right, with 2- light windows and C20 porch. Interior: Dining room (centre) has framed ceiling with stop-chamfered beams. Ground floor left room has panelled door. Dog-leg staircase with turned balusters. The roof trusses incorporate principals with curved feet.
